Charlie Chapman made an excellent comment on the statements of former Vice President Joe Biden (“Rule of thumb” in the April 6-7 edition of the Daily Journal). Charlie says that Biden falsely connects prior shortcomings in living up to these ideals with the foundational principles themselves.
In the past, we have made mistakes and only by constantly pursueing equal rights and just judiciary is at the heart of our culture and continues to drive us to correct our shortcomings.
The Student News columns are excellent and it is so pleasing to know that our students are doing such good work to inform the readers of the Daily Journal.
