Dems love to tax

As if California residents aren’t suffering enough with high costs of everyday life, here come Democrats proposing a new tax on cars, this time at a per-mile charge. Is there no shame? Is there nothing they won’t tax?

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Guttenbeil. To answer your questions, Democrats have no shame and there is nothing they won’t tax. In addition, thus far, Democrats won’t allow California residents to take advantage of the One Big Beautiful Bill’s exemption on taxes from tips and overtime. Folks who receive tips and overtime pay – California wants to take some, if not all, your savings from federal taxes to be transferred to them. No word yet on whether California will honor the OBBB’s no tax on Social Security benefit… I’m betting California won’t because they want more of your hard earned money. There’s a reason folks with the means are leaving Governor “U-Haul” Newsom’s state.
