GENEVA (AP) — Transgender women athletes are now excluded from women's events at the Olympics after the IOC agreed to a new eligibility policy on Thursday which aligns with U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order on sports ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

“Eligibility for any female category event at the Olympic Games or any other IOC event, including individual and team sports, is now limited to biological females,” the International Olympic Committee said, to be determined by a mandatory gene test once in an athlete's career.

MEN are "banned" from women's events in the Olympics, as should always have been the case. Even men who take hormones and call themselves women. Even men with DSDs, like Caster Semenya. (Semenya is not a female with "naturally high testosterone", rather Caster is a male with 46,XY 5-alpha-reductase deficiency which causes female-appearing genitals at birth but male puberty due to internal testicles resulting in male levels of testosterone. Caster is on record acknowledging this. There are no conditions that cause women to have male levels of testosterone.)

Great step forward for fairness for female athletes!

Well said, MichKosk. It’s nice to see you again on these pages and it’s nice to see the IOC return to common sense policies. Of course it was after several women, in front of the world, were beaten up by biological males who stole their medals. Unfortunately, discrimination against women athletes is continuing in California and other blue-states. More power to the federal government to resort to the same lawfare blue-states pursue against the federal government. BTW, did you hear Maryland Democrats want to require tampons and other female products in men’s public restrooms?
