Editor,

Scott Abramson asks “What could be worse?” than attacking Iran. First, nearly everyone agrees with Scott that Iran is an autocratic terrorist regime, but when he goes on to say that it develops nuclear weapons to fulfill its mission to annihilate America, he’s blatantly wrong. Since Trump annihilated their nuclear enrichment facilities just months ago, how is that possible? They haven’t invaded us and don’t have nukes or long-range missiles, so where is this so-called “imminent threat” he raves about?

Yawn, snore…another Trump Derangement Syndrome tantrum. Hey Mr. Brenner, you say, “Obama negotiated the JCPOA treaty in 2015 that prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons and included extensive monitoring and verification measures.” How’d that work out? As usual, our (yes, our) great President Trump needs to clean up another Democrat mess. More power to the USA and Israel to destroy Iran’s repressive regime. BTW, Mr. Brenner, where’s your outrage at the 50,000 Iranians slaughtered by the former Supreme Leader? Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Irv - "What a stupid remark since peacefully demonstrating even in this country gets you murdered." Yes, your remark is stupid. These two protesters were not peaceful and were killed, not murdered. Your analogy is pathetic and an uneducated cheap shot.
