Class Notes: Burlingame-Hillsborough Youth Poet Laureate Maya Osinski

New Burlingame-Hillsborough Youth Poet Laureate Maya Osinski is a lover of the arts, especially poetry, which provides her a creative vehicle to express complex emotions and her deepest thoughts. It affords her a timeless community of thinkers and feelers, a place she can call home. Maya is an avid reader, losing herself in books and poetry from centuries ago to the present day. Maya says that poetry 'breaks the barrier of expectations and defies the laws of language.' In addition to poetry, Maya enjoys journalism and recently became the co-editor in chief of The Hillsdale Scroll at Hillsdale High School.
