Many moderate leaders and politicians have made calls for greater funding, training and oversight of immigration enforcement, but the time for incremental reform has passed. It has become clear that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is not an agency that can be meaningfully fixed.
ICE has been repeatedly linked to the murder of innocent civilians, deaths in custody, sexual violence, prolonged and unnecessary detention, denial of medical care, family separation and serious due-process violations. These abuses have become normalized under the current administration. A system that continues to produce this level of harm is not broken — it is functioning as designed.
ICE also undermines public safety. When immigration enforcement is entangled with local communities, victims and witnesses are less likely to report crimes, trust in institutions erodes and resources are diverted away from genuine threats.
Abolishing ICE does not mean abandoning immigration enforcement. It means dismantling a failed agency and replacing it with a humane, accountable system grounded in due process and human dignity.

Seems like ICE attracts the uneducated, unskilled and basically unemployable, now getting a chance for an upper-hand and some power over others, resembling the Nazi Gestapo from WWII.
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Hardy, but invaders to our country have been confirmed to be linked to the murder of innocent civilians as well as human trafficking, of both adults and children. And all because folks on the left put the welfare of criminals and terrorists over the American people. ICE is doing the job we voted for when we re-elected President Trump. Don’t be manipulated into supporting Democrats who wish to do away with their oaths to support and defend the U.S. Constitution. Thank you for your attention to this matter. BTW, I hear ICE has doubled their manpower to over 20,000 and they’re still hiring, so if you feel a patriotic need to serve your country…this is a way to do it.
Agree 100% Mr. Hardy. The same nitwits who refused masks that would protect their neighbors from disease are now accepting $50,000 bonuses to don masks and brandish weapons and kill peaceful protesters. The only ones not seeing this are the usual MAGA fact deniers and "own the libs" cult members. Thankfully, the rest of the country seems to be waking up to the tranagressions of the Felon and his fascist regime.
SMpool - where are you now protesting when the criminals, that ICE is trying to remove, were and are still, killing your neighbors, especially young women? MAGA supporters have not denied the killing of the rioters and you need to look up what fascism is all about. Selective outrage, by the Left, as usual.
