Looking for something to do next Friday night? The Capuchino High School Parent Teacher Organization is holding a pasta dinner and bingo night, 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday, April 16 at Hennessy Hall, located at Saint Roberts Church, 1380 Crystal Springs Road in San Bruno. Tickets are on sale but volunteers are also needed.
Proceeds will be split between supporting the parent group and the family of Chris Ramirez. Ramirez, a Capuchinio student, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and is undergoing treatment. His positive attitude is an inspiration to his classmates and everyone around him. Ramirez’s single, unemployed mother is encountering numerous difficulties and needs our support to help her sustain her family.
Capuchino High School PTO benefits the entire student body and staff providing scholarships, assemblies, and support to Capuchino students and teachers. Due to the recent budget cuts the school needs our support now more than ever.
The Fish Market has offered to donate, cook and serve the entire pasta dinner. Bingo prizes are flowing in and many parents have volunteered. But the group still needs help
Hour to hour-and-a-half shifts are available starting at 4:30 p.m. or as late as 9:30 p.m. to help arrange tables, hostess, collect tickets, bartend or act as cashier. More bingo prizes are still needed.
Those interested in helping should contact Jeanette Wild at 922-2966 or jnwild218@aol.com with any questions.
Tickets for the event are $8 for dinner only, $20 for bingo only or $25 for both dinner and bingo. Tickets can be purchased by calling Kathy Holm at (408) 857-9181 or Monica Diaz at 678.5156. This event is for adults only.

Students with a perfect record for the third quarter/trimester can cash in on a free ticket with proof of their attendance record.
Teachers/principals may request tickets for their classroom/school as well to encourage student participation.
High school students could be awarded for their good grades through "Mateo’s Honor Roll.” Students must be on the honor roll program with a 3.5 GPA or equivalent to be eligible.
