Furta Mifsud, late of Millbrae and San Mateo County resident since 1963, entered into rest in Burlingame on December 11, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Paul Mifsud. Loving mother of Frank Mifsud (his wife Donna), the late Jim Mifsud (his wife Eileen), Paul Mifsud Jr. and Diane Mifsud. Furta was the last of 9 siblings. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Jason, Steven, Shannon, Sheila, Anna, Eric and Jeremy including 7 great grandchildren, along with her nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A native of Hamrun, Malta, age 90 years.
A longtime member of the Maltese American Social Club in South San Francisco.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday December 19, 2024 after 4:00 p.m. at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Dunstan Catholic Church in Millbrae. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
