With playing described as “stylish and full of fire,” Ensemble Mirable has captivated listeners throughout the United States since its founding at Indiana University’s Early Music Institute in 1996. The ensemble has appeared at the Berkeley Early Music Festival, Bloomington Early Music Festival, and San Francisco Early Music Society concert series; and has received awards from Early Music America, including for the ensemble’s world-premiere recording of the complete cello sonatas of Jean Zewalt Triemer.
