A 21-year-old Stockton man was arrested for trying to rob someone in San Bruno early Thursday morning, police said.
Kyle Rodriguez was eventually arrested in connection with the robbery reported at about 1:20 a.m. in the area of San Bruno Avenue and El Camino Real.
Officers learned that the suspect had approached the victim, indicated that he had a firearm in his waistband, then demanded property from the victim, according to police. No firearm was actually seen by the victim.
Officers searched the area and eventually found Rodriguez, who was identified as the robbery suspect and was booked into San Mateo County Jail, police said.
