Sacred Heart Prep 4, Notre Dame-SJ 1
Senior striker Lauryn Masetti recorded her second hat trick against Notre Dame-San Jose in as many weeks, as the Gators (3-2-1 WBAL, 6-4-1 overall) rolled to a 5-0 win on its home pitch over the Regents (0-7, 1-11). Masetti scored each of SHP’s first three goals, all in the first half, with two assists from freshmna Layla Pine, and an assist from sophomore Avery Sui. Sui later assisted on a first-half goal from freshman Emma Kunihiro.
Masetti previously scored three goals last Friday in SHP’s 5-0 win at Notre Dame-SJ.
Woodside 3, Hillsdale 1
Senior Evelyn Tolver scored two goals and assisted on another as the Wildcats (6-2-1 PAL Bay, 9-4-2 overall) maintained control of first place in the PAL Bay Division with a win at Hillsdale (1-5-3, 3-8-3). Freshman Ellie Sala got Woodside on the board with an assist from Tolver in the first half. Then Tolver scored an unassisted goal to make it 2-0 before halftime, and returned from the break to score a third on an assist from senior Kaylie McKee. Hillsdale junior Nada Marsi scored in the second half on an assist from senior Sophia Shelton.
With the win, Hillsdale improves to 19 points to keep pace over second-place Carlmont (17 points).
Carlmont 2, Burlingame 1
The Scots (5-1-2 PAL Bay, 8-3-5 overall) kept pace in second place in the PAL Bay Division with a home win over Burlingame (3-5-1, 3-9-1). Senior forward Eva Awoyinka got Carlmont on the board with an assist from junior Delaney Kumer. Junior forward Kiyo Aretun made it 2-0 on an assist from senior Rina Choe.
Sequoia 3, Menlo-Atherton 0
The Ravens (4-3-2 PAL Bay, 6-7-3 overall) have leapfrogged into third place in the PAL Bay Division with two straight wins, most recently shutting out M-A (3-4-1, 7-6-3) in Redwood City. Abby Ma scored Sequoia’s first two goals, the second with an assist from Sarah Schembri, while Gigi Jarolimek wrapped up the victory with a second-half goal on an assist from Kazumi Low.
San Mateo 3, Capuchino 0
The Bearcats (3-1-1 PAL Ocean, 6-3-1 overall) score in bunches when they win, and used three goals from three different players to notch the victory at Capuchino (2-3, 2-12-1). Lulu Bertolina, Violette Vestner and Kayla Lichaa each scored for a San Mateo squad that has now outscored opponents 44-18.
Half Moon Bay 6, Westmoor 0
Clarissa Amezcua and Callie Bellino scored two goals apiece as the Cougars (2-2-1 PAL Ocean, 3-6-1 overall) cruised to the home win over Westmoor (0-4, 0-6). Kiersten Holmas and Adair Gress added scores for HMB, and Margaux Meyers totaled two assists.
El Camino 7, Jefferson 1
The Lady Colts (2-3 PAL Ocean, 4-10 overall) scored six times in the first half to cruise at home against Jefferson (0-6, 0-8). Natalia Hernandez, Alysse Saddi and Sajin Satuito scored two goals apiece, while Isabella Fernandez finished off the barrage with a second-half goal.

Oceana (3-2 PAL Ocean, 6-2 overall) soldiered to a 1-0 win at Mills (3-2, 8-9).
Boys’ basketball
Nueva School 76, Kehillah 59
Sophomore guard Nigel Li blew up for a career-high 20 points to lead the Mavericks (3-6 PSAL, 4-14 overall) to the home win over Kehillah School-Palo Alto (0-7, 1-9). Li hit three 3-pointers, and was 5 of 6 from the free-throw line. Freshman Aaron Emelie added 11 points and senior Beckett Beard scored 10.

Design Tech (8-0 PSAL, 9-6 overall) fell a point shy of doubling up in a 67-34 home win over Pacific Bay Christian (3-3, 5-7).
Summit Shasta (9-0 PSAL, 14-6 overall) rolled to a 71-43 win at Basis Independent-San Jose (4-3, 7-11).

Summit Shasta 63, Basis Independent 15
Freshman forward Daina Randall posted a double-double to 20 points and 13 rebounds, and freshman guard Jordin Lee hit 4 of 4 from long range to add 19 points, as the Black Bears rolled to the road win at Basis Independent-San Jose (3-3, 6-11). Lee added seven steals, and junior Chloe Macario scored 12 points for Shasta.
Nueva School 35, Kehillah 29
The Mavericks (6-2 PSAL, 9-7 overall) got back in the win column with a home win over Kehillah School-Palo Alto (1-5, 4-8). After dropping Tuesday’s road game at Summit Shasta, Nueva has now won seven of its last eight. Senior center Julia Randoph led the way with 16 points.
Pinewood 68, Notre Dame-Belmont 30
Pinewood freshman Sophia Bowles scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Eagles (5-1 WBAL Foothill, 16-2 overall) to the home win over Notre Dame-Belmont (3-3, 14-3). Bowles was 7 of 12 from beyond the arc, and senior Caitlyn Kramer added a triple-double of 10 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.
Boys’ wrestling
El Camino 58, Half Moon Bay 21
Seniors Keanu Perez and Yousef Eraigat highlighted El Camino’s Senior Night as the Colts (4-2 PAL Bay) took outright control of third place in the PAL Bay Division with a win over Half Moon Bay (3-3). Perez scored a fall in the 146-pound match, while Eraigat pinned his oppoenent at 192s.
San Mateo 40, Hillsdale 37
Liam Franzel (132s) and Calvin Hutchison (150s) each scored pins to lead the Bearcats (2-4 PAL Bay) to the home win over crosstown Hillsdale (3-3). San Mateo’s Montrelle Tupas opened the night with an 8-6 win at 120s, and heavyweight Gabe Magana closed it out with a 7-4 victory.

Aragon (1-5 PAL Bay) earned its first dual meet victory with a 33-30 win at Sequoia (0-6).
Burlingame (6-1 PAL Ocean) claimed a 52-24 win at Westmoor (3-2).
