Editor,

I wholeheartedly agree with Grace Xuereb’s letter to the editor from Tuesday regarding her opinion on the guest perspective hit piece by Tovis Page calling the killing of Renee Good murder and the Daily Journal’s editors allowing for such an inflammatory word to be used in her article before the ICE  officer is formally charged.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Wackerman, and your concerns about what is allowed to be printed in the Daily Journal. Personally, I’m okay with LTEs because writers show us who they are, whether for America and humanity or not. Or whether writers have been easily manipulated. Or whether writers lead by emotion without logic and facts. I would be more concerned if the editor or their reporters made the same claim of “murdered” in what should be a non-partisan news article. Have a great day and I hope you’re having a Happy New Year.
