After reading “Troubled by opinion,” Grace Xuereb’s letter expressing disappointment with the Daily Journal’s irresponsible (?) publishing of a letter stating that Renee Good “was murdered for being a witness to state violence,” I find myself curious.
Is Grace also troubled by U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, and part-time animal population control officer, Kristi Noem’s, Vice President JD Vance’s and Trump’s “favorite lips” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s rush to judgement with public statements implying that Renee Good was a domestic terrorist, “part of a sinister left-wing movement,” and had it coming? In their chosen narrative, obviously this woman must be a leftist plant as she went to great lengths to conceal the nature of her intent by first dropping off her 6-year-old at school before seeking out ICE agents/victims to assault them with a lethal weapon disguised as a Honda. Really? This alleged, radical, leftist, agitator was willing to risk arrest, loss of her freedom and, more importantly, access to her children?
She should have known that bumping an easily triggered, and trigger-happy, ICE agent with her car would result in her execution. Ironically, with a smile on her face. Perpetrators of vehicular homicide don’t even get the death penalty. In our strange new world, when it comes to protesters against authoritarianism, their fate is determined by Donald Trump.

Thanks for your letter, Cory. I’m sure Grace, or anyone else, would answer your questions if you first answered why you and Democrats put the welfare of criminals and terrorists over the American people. Besides, it is readily apparent from your letter that you “think” you know all the answers and are willing to change facts to fit your narrative. As for fate being determined by our (yes, our) great President Trump, to a certain degree that’s true. But there’s also something called free will and remembering that actions have consequences. Such as using a vehicle as a deadly weapon while impeding law enforcement. Folks can free to take action but they should be aware there may be consequences they don’t like. Sometimes consequences they may be unable to recover from. Have a Trump-tastic day! Be safe.
