Editor,

I appreciate that Mr. David felt compelled to respond to my letter, though, he appears to have mistaken my critique of the Journal’s editorial judgment for an invitation to litigate his preferred political narrative. My concern was not about the merits of any particular viewpoint, but about a newspaper presenting in a guest perspective piece an unresolved allegation as settled fact, a distinction that seems to have been lost.

Thanks for your letter, Ms. Xuereb. Especially the tidbit about having been asked to provide supporting evidence for a submission. Time will tell whether we see another provocative letter from Ms. Page or anyone else tossing out fake news and lies and unproven allegations. I’m betting we will, as we have seen, from just about every rabid leftist, easily debunked fake news and lies with volumes of unproven allegations. But don’t worry, Ms. Page and others have shown us who they are, and they aren’t for America. We believe them.
