TUESDAY
Division I
No. 1 Milpitas 73, No. 8 Sequoia 40
Sequoia senior Nick Henderson scored a bucket to close it to 27-22 near the end of the first half, but Milpitas (24-1 ) responded with a 14-2 run through the midway mark to take the game in hand. Dylan Nguyen and Prenavram Krishnan led the way for the Trojans. The elimination loss marks the first CCS quarterfinal appearance for the Ravens (12-14) since 2019-20, when they finished as Division I runners-up.
Milpitas has now won 15 straight, and advances to the Division I semifinals to host No. 4 Palo Alto Thursday at 7 p.m.
Division II
No. 3 St. Francis 65, No. 11 Woodside 34
Thirteen different Lancers got on the scoresheet as host St. Francis-Mountain View (10-15) 34 cruised to the win over Woodside (15-12). With the win, St. Francis snaps a five-game losing streak through the final stretch of West Catholic Athletic League regular-season play. Senior Ayaan Bawa and sophomore Kingston Ng led the Lancers with eight points apiece.
Woodside’s season ends after a third-place finish in Peninsula Athletic League Ocean Division play. This marks the second straight year the Wildcats have reached the CCS quarterfinals, but the first time they has won two CCS playoff games since 2004-05 when the program finished as Division I runner-up.
No. 2 Christopher 78, No. 7 Aragon 58
Aragon saw its wild 2025-26 run come to an end in Gilroy with a loss at reigning CCS Division II champion Christopher (19-6). The Cougars opened on a 6-0 run, but Aragon rallied back to take the lead with three minutes remaining in the first quarter on a Kaleb Brodeth wing 3. But with the game tied 25-all, Christopher went on an 11-2 run and led the rest of the way. The Cougars advance to the semifinals to travel to Mountain View for a Thursday matchup with St. Francis.
To advance to the CCS quarterfinals, the Dons went through Hillsdale with a 61-55 win in their postseason opener. It served as the hammer in what turned into a three-game season series between the rivals, which saw Aragon take 2 of 3 games.
Division III
No. 3 Pioneer 76, No. 11 Mills 46
In its first trip to the CCS quarterfinals since 2017-18, Mills (11-15) was eliminated at Pioneer-San Jose (14-11). The Vikings hadn’t played at home since Feb. 14 in their regular-season non-league finale against San Francisco’s new freelance program Rise University Prep. Both Mills’ playoff games were on the road, including a 56-52 victory Saturday at Santa Cruz.

Division IV
No. 1 Sacred Heart Prep 62, No. 8 Terra Nova 56
SHP (14-11) won the first three quarters then led a late sure by Terra Nova (9-17) in the CCS quarterfinals at McGanney Sports Center. The Gators led 44-30 heading into the fourth quarter, with Terra Nova winning the final eight minutes 26-18. Advancing to the semifinals, SHP will host No. 4 Pacific Grove Thursday at 7 p.m., after the Breakers knocked off No. 5 Marina 65-55 Tuesday night.
No. 2 Half Moon Bay 64, No. 7 Jefferson 37
HMB’s 6-9 senior Owen Perez scored a game-high 20 points, and the Cougars (15-10) rode it to a CCS quarterfinal home win over Jefferson (8-18). Senior forward Gio Garduno-Martin added 15 points and eight rebounds for HMB, while senior Daniel Moctezuma and junior Levi Meighan totaled nine points apiece. It was the third meeting of the year between the two PAL Bay Division teams, with the Cougars earning the season sweep.
With the win, HMB hosts its semifinal matchup Thursday against No. 3 Menlo School. Tipoff is 7 p.m.
No. 3 Menlo 58, No. 6 Carmel 49
Menlo senior Ethan Zhao was honored before the game for reaching the career 1,000-point plateau, and kept adding to his total with a game-high 21 points as the Knights (14-11) knocked off Carmel (9-17) in Atherton. Junior forward Kai Mawakana added nine points and blocked three shots for Menlo, while senior Maverick Desuasido fronted the defense with five steals.
HMB now hits the road for a Thursday showdown at No. 2 Half Moon Bay.
Division V
No. 3 Oakwood 79, No. 6 Summit Shasta 61
Summit Shasta’s bid to return to the CCS finals for the third time in six years fell short as high-octane Oakwood-Morgan Hill (20-4) rolled to the win on its home court. Oakwood is averaging 69.3 points per game, and has scored 80 or more points in a single game six times this season. Shasta (19-7) has now qualified for the postseason in each of its nine seasons since joining the CCS, including finals appearances in 2021 and ’24, with a Division V championship in 2020-21. Oakwood travels to No. 2 Priory for Thursday’s semifinal.
No. 5 Pinewood 40, No. 4 Crystal 39, OT
Crystal took a 39-37 lead on three free throws by senior Marcus Kueh with 2:07 remaining in overtime, but Pinewood (17-8) got to the line three times in the final minute and a half at the Gryphon Den. Pinewood’s Josh Tian made 1 of 2 from the stripe with 1:28 to go, and, 25 seconds later, sophomore Sebastian Birch dropped two dagger free throws to send the Panthers to the Division V semifinals to face No. 1 Palma-Salinas Thursday night. Crystal (15-8) was appearing in the CCS quarterfinals for the second straight year.
