Editor,

What would we do without Craig Wiesner? His insights, facts, examples and background stories are not only consistently thoughtful, but also grounded in a perspective that strengthens connection with our community. It’s a pleasure to read his columns in a time when so many others divide.

Hey Ms. Torres, you ask, “What would we do without Craig Wiesner?” My answer in regards to Mr. Wiesner’s column, not Mr. Wiesner the person, “Do we have a choice?” It would be a pleasure to read Mr. Wiesner’s columns but they have become a one-trick pony. Longtime readers remember when Mr. Wiesner “promised” to write columns that would move anyone who isn’t already on one side or the other, to give people hope or motivate them to do better, or to spark mutually helpful discussions. That “promise” was over a year and a half ago and we’re still waiting. In fact I’d daresay Mr. Wiesner has done more to divide than to unite. Sadly.
