Robert Neil Poss
rhee bevere inc.Robert Neil Poss, of New York, New York, born on March 4, 1946, in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, to the late Lillian Poss and the late Irving Poss, died at age 72 on Dec. 29, 2018, in San Mateo, California.
Robert graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1972 and the University of Rochester in 1968. He was a solo practitioner dentist until retiring in 2007.
Robert was the husband of Pat Poss. He was preceded in death by his son, David Michael Poss. Robert is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Lynn Ilene Poss Veblen; and sister, Margaret P. Levy.
Robert spent most of his life in San Francisco where he met Pat. They raised Lynn and David alongside a menagerie of pets, including their dog, Butterscotch. He had a passion for photography, gardening and swimming.
Donations in Robert’s name to Doctors Without Borders and World Wildlife Fund are welcome and appreciated.
A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Skylawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, State Route 92 and Skyline Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402.
