Once again, the president of the United States lashed out at a White House reporter for asking him a perfectly reasonable question. He exploded and shouted “are you stupid, are you a stupid person? And the week prior, he told another reporter, “quiet, piggy.” He also called another reporter “ugly both inside and out.” The common denominator in all three cases is that the reporters are female.
His remarks create an environment of intimidation for all reporters; both male and female. Why isn’t anyone calling him out?
If a CEO exhibited this kind of abhorrent behavior, they would most likely be terminated immediately and escorted out of the building.

Imagine what would have happened if President Obama had behaved this way? It’s disgusting behavior day after day and we can’t become inured to it.
Well Mick - Obama was never asked stupid questions by ugly reporters.
That's because they respected someone as decent, honest, well educated, and knowledgeable as President Obama! Simple as that. WHAT a difference between him and the selfish lying and cheating rapist that now occupies the WH!
Dirk: You can say whatever satisfies you about President Obama, but he was respected around the world, was elected twice with a comfortable margin, and started “Obamacare”, which Republicans haven’t been able to destroy yet! He won the Nobel Peace Prize, without promoting himself, while Trump has not, despite his self-promotion. Obama was very well educated, while Trump is not, despite all his dad has paid for, while the USC Film school rejected him, despite what his dad offered as bribe.
Oh c'mon Dirk! At the very beginning of his presidential life, he was repeatedly asked about his birth certificate, promoted by the false narrative of guess who?
OK Rel - since you brought it up, Obama was not a born US citizen, he could never prove it, and a birth certificate was never produced. On the other hand, he was always asked softball questions by suck up, preselected reporters, a trend continued under Biden. Not once would the WH allow any reporter in who might ask real questions that Obama would not want to answer. Also note that he virtually quit holding press conferences after a while and resorted to interviews with selected reporters only. For the record, Trump can be unreasonably and embarrassingly rude which detracts from his position. The 'piggy' comment was over the top.
Dirk: Oh, what a surprise! I didn’t think that someone like YOU would fall for the silly birth certificate nonsense that a liar like Trump cooked up! Remember he said he had sent investigators to Hawaii to check into it? What came of that?
Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961. Hawaii became a state in 1960. His birth certificate has been verified countless times. Everyone but people in denial know this. And who cares now anyway?
Or, Ms. Quirk, perhaps, these women are attempting to frame a false narrative for folks to push. How about the multitude of men and mostly women (there are only two) who call Trump a fascist, or Hitler, or anything else that comes to mind? Let's not forget the preponderance of unladylike potty mouth rants? If folks are willing to dish it out, they should be ready to take it. Terence --- your continuing reply seems to be that the Democrats did this and worse. Putting aside I have never seen another public official, of any party, call a female reporter piggy, what is wrong with condemning this behavior on its face?

Rscollins - no legitimate birth certificate for Obama was ever, ever certified. According to his own brother he was born in Africa, a "love child" and was moved to Indonesia by his biological white mother. After his grade school Islamic education he was adopted by her DEI-focused family in Hawaii. Obama was a smooth talking an either Bible or Koran thumping politician. A phony from day one but had the guilt-prone audience in his grasp. Time will tell who Obama really was, even his eldest daughter has expressed her doubts.

How many public officials , of any party, had you seen before Hillary called Trump supporters “deplorables” or Biden called MAGA Republicans a “threat to democracy” or worse? If you and Ms. Quirk and other Democrats condemn the behavior of Democrats for their abhorrent behavior, including putting the welfare of criminals and terrorists over the American people, placing the priorities of biological males competing over biological females, and hating Trump more than they love America then I’ll reconsider. After all, what is wrong with condemning Democrat behavior on its face and everywhere else? If Democrats want to make the rules in their race to the bottom, so be it. Don’t be surprised when the other side joins the game and begins calling Democrats what they’ve been calling Trump and Trump supporters. Perhaps we’ve gone over the tipping point, as we see increasing unladylike (and to soothe SMpool’s sensibilities, ungentlemanlike) potty mouth rants along with the “Seditious Six.”

Ultimately, perhaps Rscollins is making an accurate observation, I am right and Rscollins is wrong. Time will tell if this is always. But IMO, I’d estimate my percentage to be akin to Ivory soap purity, 99.44%.

When people ask deliberately misleading and stupid questions, repeatedly, sometimes they need to be called stupid. Fake propriety doesn't help anyone.

And now we have Mr./Ms. Y, that great champion of the thousands of (or possibly 5) women athletes being challenged by transgender men, calling out "pottymouthed" uppity women asking nasty questions of Dear Leader and claiming they deserve to be called "stupid" and "piggy." What colossal hypocrisy!

Speaking of colossal hypocrisy, let’s recap… SMpool has said she takes pride in the progress made in women’s and civil rights yet she’s never answered why it’s okay for biological men claiming they’re women to compete, steal medals, and in some instances injure biological women. Or why it’s okay for men to use women’s locker rooms (a la Planet Fitness). Or whether it would be okay for men claiming to be women advertise as woman-owned businesses.
