Editor,

In a Daily Journal letter dated Feb. 13, Mr. Fichtenholz criticized Rep. Kevin Mullin’s alleged failures as a Congressman and instead attempts to claim that our elected President is purportedly saving our country.

Thanks for your letter, Ms. Nishimura, but I’d like to remind folks of how Mr. Mullin has voted and his failures as a Congressman. For instance, let’s not forget Mr. Mullin voted against the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, essentially voting to increase taxes on everyone, considerably. Let’s not forget Mullin voted against the Laken Riley Act, choosing to promote biological males competing against biological females. Let’s not forget Mullin voted against the SAVE Act, essentially opting to undermine free and fair elections. (I hear Somalia has implemented Voter ID. Yes, Somalia.)

Seems to me that Mullin is not about helping people. Mullin has been against the American people on every major issue. Our (yes, our) great President Trump has done more for America than Mr. Mullin ever will. Unless of course, Mr. Mullin decides to opt for supporting the welfare of Americans more than the criminals who’ve illegally crossed our borders. But what are the chances from this hyperpartisan Congressman? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
