California is one of the nation’s bluest states, and its bluest region is the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area.

In San Francisco itself, there are eight times as many registered Democrats as there are Republicans and while Democratic margins in other Bay Area counties are not as lopsided, 4-to-1 or even 5-to-1 ratios are standard.

Thanks for your column today, Mr. Walters, and for noticing the political change that is occurring in California, however slow. As long as radical left Democrats supporting criminals and terrorists continue pulling the party to the left, there will also be Democrats with common sense that will shine. I get the feeling these Democrats will soon be considered DINOs (Democrats in Name Only) by those on the radical left. As always, people get the government they voted for and if voters continue voting for far left Democrats, they only have themselves to blame for their predicaments. Vote for better candidates now and in the near and far future.
