Several European leaders pushed back Tuesday on U.S. President Donald Trump's comments about seeking an American takeover of Greenland.

The leaders issued a statement reaffirming the strategic, mineral-rich Arctic island "belongs to its people."

Location, location, location: Greenland’s position above the Arctic Circle makes the world’s largest island a key part of security strategy. But for whom?
