The Redwood City Elks Lodge No. 1991 is hosting a public safety night event Thursday, June 20, dedicated to recognizing and honoring San Mateo County first responders. 

The event will feature 10 local public safety agencies, including the police departments of Redwood City, Menlo Park, Atherton and East Palo Alto, along with AMR, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office (covering Woodside, San Carlos and unincorporated areas of San Mateo County), California Highway Patrol Redwood City Station, and the fire departments of Redwood City, San Carlos, Menlo Park (including Atherton and East Palo Alto) and Woodside (including Portola Valley and unincorporated areas of San Mateo County).
