Jordan as best male actor and the hall erupted. Minutes later, presenter Samuel L. Jackson yelled with excitement as “Sinners” won best ensemble. Castmates rushed together and the whole room stood and cheered. During the commercial breaks, actors raced to the bar, the bathroom or to friends’ tables. A gospel performance of “This Little Light of Mine” got people dancing.

That's not the only thing they are celebrating. Twice is featured on the soundtrack for “KPop Demon Hunters” on the songs “Strategy” and “Takedown.” Netflix says it is its most watched film ever. Later this month, the movie is up for two Oscars at the Academy Awards. Twice members say they keep evolving and hope to continue to connect with their fans.

A canceled Kennedy Center debut, a Carnegie Hall stage and De Niro reading 'Lincoln'

NEW YORK (AP) — Robert De Niro will appear this week at Carnegie Hall. He will read excerpts from a Philip Glass opera about Abraham Lincoln that the composer once intended to stage at the Kennedy Center. Glass announced in January that he called off a scheduled June premiere of Symphony No. 25, “Lincoln.” He was protesting President Donald Trump’s ouster of the center’s leadership. The Carnegie Hall event will take place Tuesday night.

The six day of mostly womenswear previews for the next cold weather season closed Sunday with buzz around Madonna, Kate Moss, and Mark Zuckerberg at Prada.  Designers leaned into suits for back-to-work life and spare, tough outerwear for uncertain times. Prada highlighted layering, stripping looks down to underwear and slip dresses. Fendi and others brought fur, feathers and animal prints. Coats and chunky knits also dominated.

'Scream 7' opens with a franchise-best $64.1 million in box-office win for Paramount

Thirty years after the original slasher movie opened in theaters, “Scream 7” debuted with a franchise-best $64.1 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. The bigger-than-expected opening is a win for Paramount, which on Friday announced its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. In a so-far sluggish 2026 at the box office, “Scream 7” managed the best debut of the year, easily displacing last weekend’s champ, the Stephen Curry-produced animated film “GOAT,” from Sony Pictures. “GOAT” dropped to second place with $12 million in its third weekend.

Catherine O'Hara wins posthumous award for 'The Studio' at Actor Awards

A month after her unexpected death, Catherine O’Hara won a posthumous award at the 32nd Actor Awards for her performance on “The Studio.” O’Hara won best female actor in a comedy series Sunday at the Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. O’Hara died at the age of 71 on Jan. 30 from a blood clot in the lungs. On Sunday, at the Shine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the crowd stood in a standing ovation for O’Hara after she was announced as the winner.

It opened in slate gray with soft blouses and long coats. Silvana Armani built the lineup around tailored jackets and relaxed trousers. The colors move into burgundy and midnight blue. Velvet and corseted evening looks add polish. Cross-body bags keep everything practical and active. She also helped shape Emporio Armani with Leo Dell’Orco earlier in the week.
