The International Criminal Court and now the International Court of Justice have weighed in with their opinions on referring President Putin to the Hague for his misdeeds in the Ukraine war and now the Hamas organization and the government of Israel for their war crimes in their conflict as well.
They appear to just be doing their assigned task of upholding international law and trying to keep warring parties from the horrific war crimes that keep reoccurring in our history. Yet our president takes issue with only one party being called out. That being an ally of his government over the years. He needs to realize the law has to rule over all, not just our adversaries. The United States is only further isolating itself and diminishing our declining prestige in the eyes of all the rest of the world with his wish to proscribe just those not in his favor.

Whoa, every one of our past presidents would have been indicted? Hmmm Maybe they all deserved it? Viet Nam with Johnson, Cambodia under Nixon, Nicaragua under Reagan? Maybe Clinton with the lack of response in Ruanda? The illegal Iraq invasion under Bush the lesser. Or Obama with his 'Assad must go"? Or the 'unprovoked' situation we set up in Ukraine? Yes, and plenty of foreign criminals as well but we don't elect them.
Mike - don't you think that the International Court of Justice is highly selective when it targets certain heads of State? It is a useless, money squandering body that lives high on the hog in The Hague. If the USA would recognize it, everyone of our past presidents would have been dragged in there. But, somehow, the leaders of China, Myanmar, Sudan and several other African nations are not accused even though horrific crimes are being committed within their borders. That Court is a farce and we should not pay any attention to it, although it is great for the economy of The Hague.
