Mr. Wild, how dare you to label fellow Americans as criminals simply because they hold different political views. These individuals include veterans, senators, judges, governors and countless others serving across the branches of government. They have dedicated themselves to making our country great. Your words are baseless and disgraceful. Shame on you!
We understand that elections often hinge on effective propaganda that mobilizes people to vote. History offers us stark lessons: Have you seen the images of the Third Reich? Millions of followers rallied behind the fuhrer, propelled by propaganda. In modern time, Trump had Fox “news” and other similar outlets doing the same work, spreading misinformation and lies.
The United States has witnessed the devastating effects of propaganda first hand. There is another troubling parallel: In the past, a group of people was persecuted, scapegoated and blamed for society’s ill, culminating in an attempt annihilation — merciful those efforts failed. Yet, humanity seems to have a perpetual need for scapegoats. Today, immigrants have become the target.
Do you see any parallels?
Better living under Trump? Have you seen his Cabinet choices? None of them, including Trump himself, know how to effectively run a country, let alone the mighty United States of America.
Trump seems to have Elon Musk in his corner — a puppet master — pulling the strings. We’ve already seen signs of this. But let be clear: Musk, for all his wealth, has no understanding of how nations are governed. Trump, however, is dazzled by Musk’s billions. To Trump, money speaks louder than expertise, and he will likely follow Musk’s lead without question. Just wait and see.
God help the U.S.!
And no, Mr. Wild, fellow American Democrats are NOT criminals.

Apparently you’ve forgotten about the hoax Russian Collusion and the criminal pushing it. And then we have the kangaroo court known as the J6 commission where Liz Cheney conspired with a witness to shape testimony and which Cheney will likely face criminal investigation. Of course, let’s not forget we have Dems calling everyone else who hold different political views a fascist or deplorable or garbage. Can’t you see your hypocrisy? Thank you, TY, for explaining so brilliantly what kind of mind is necessary to embrace someone like Trump! That explains why it is impossible for most of us, - with a mind standing in the way, like a compact wall of reason, logic and common sense.

Dirk, I think the San Mateo journal editors should require the writers of LTE to respond to each comment they receive. If they wanna play chess, then they should play chess and make a move, so we can hear their counter arguments to other people’s arguments and opinions. Going into a hole, after writing an LTE, until they see their shadow serves no purpose.
