Three people were arrested outside the Lululemon retail store at the Hillsdale Shopping Center Wednesday afternoon with about $1,400 in stolen merchandise, according to San Mateo police.
At approximately 1:04 p.m. Wednesday, San Mateo police officers responded to Lululemon on a report of theft in progress. Three suspects were observed on surveillance footage allegedly working together to conceal multiple store items in bags, then attempted to flee the store without paying for the items, according to police.
The suspects were identified as Cameran Hicks, 20, Shauntrise Hill, 31, and Omar Mathis, 25, all of San Francisco, and were detained by officers as they exited the store, and were found with approximately $1,400 worth of Lululemon merchandise in their possession. All three were arrested for grand theft and conspiracy to commit a crime (felony) and transported to the San Mateo County Jail where they were booked on their charges, according to police.
