It’s plain and simple. The white supremacists who marched in Washington on the Fourth of July thought the world needed to know how they felt about race, the only trouble was they wanted the world to know how they felt but not who they were. They wore white masks instead of white sheets. This is not free speech. We have seen this before let’s not let history repeat itself.
It’s plain and simple, Mr. Nice. The white supremacists who marched in Washington on the Fourth of July thought the world needed to know how they felt about race. The only trouble was they are likely another SPLC-funded group attempting to generate outrage. We have seen this before, since the SPLC has been exposed funding white supremacist groups. BTW, it appears history is repeating itself – weren’t Democrats behind the party of white sheets, too?
Free speech is for all. Even if you don’t agree with their cause and their message, and that they’re cowards, we let them march so that we can too. I wouldn’t fret too much about the SPLC. The SPLC is effectively fighting fascism and other forms of hate. It bankrupted the armed and violent Aryan Nations with a $6 million judgement. It’s not in the business supporting these groups. Here’s more information about the government’s attack on them: https://www.thebulwark.com/p/justice-department-anti-anti-racism-indictment-holes-splc-southern-povery-law-center and this: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2026/04/25/splc-doj-indictment-hate-groups-case/89733405007/. Both political parties have used hate groups for political gain. Russ Bellant documents the Republican effort in his book, Old Nazis, the New Right, and the Republican Party. After Dewey lost, Nixon blamed it on the Jewish vote and sought his own ethnic voter bloc. The solution was to grant visas to eastern European far-right leaders including Nazi war criminals to organize communities over which they had sway. This was the origin of the National Republican Heritage Groups Council run by Allen Dulles, George H.W. Bush, and William Casey.
