Editor,

Letter writer Jacob was correct about the methodology I used to arrive at average county employee compensation.

Great analysis. As shown, numbers and percentages can be twisted. What can’t be twisted is, on July 1, the Democrats in the California Senate will be raising taxes on each gallon of gasoline. Please thank them as they are adding 2.2 cents per gallon to your cost of gasoline. The Democrats never have enough your money, isn’t it time to vote for the other party who lowers taxes?

I had asked our Rep Papan whether she was even aware of this scheduled increase and she assure me that she would be looking. I suppose looking into it is the same as why "don't you get lost." The increase went ahead without her looking into it or taking any action. A true citizen "representative," could not give a darn.

Pappan Democrat = liar = wave you off = tax increases = more money for her and social giveaways

Dirk, by the way, she does not represent you a conservative, she represents her Democrat constituents, and the money that comes her way. The one thing about the Democrat party that is somewhat positive, is they stick to their guns, they vote for their own, they do not divide, and they stick with their constituents who wear swastikas as a badge of honor

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Donnelly. It should be noted that in addition to paying employee compensation, much of this $3.38 billion is being used for generous employee pensions for people that have retired from the county. The bill for generous pension payments for current employees who have yet to retire will be paid for by future budgets, which is why government continually floats as many tax proposals as they can. They need more of your money to pay for generous pension packages…apparently to the tune of 65%. In several short years, your calculation may result in an average of $600,000 average per employee. Vote NO on any and all tax proposals because most of your money (at least 65% but likely higher in the near future) will be transferred to ever-increasing union salaries, pensions, and benefits.
