Peninsula Italian American Social Club of San Mateo scholarships
The Peninsula Italian American Social Club of San Mateo awarded scholarships to outstanding high school graduates of Italian descent. The recipients’ academic achievements as well as personal accomplishments were acknowledged. An essay was written by all applicants expressing what their Italian heritage means to them. The scholarships were awarded at a luncheon given at the Italian Club.
