1. High rises full of apartments along the transportation corridor. They keep building them. We’re told they’ll use the train or BART to get to work. Well, not everyone is going to work five days a week. No purpose at all to jam so many people in a confined area, the Peninsula. Will they be taking the train to the grocery store? To the movie theater on a Saturday night? Will they take the train to the park? If they have kids, they no doubt will need two cars. This was state Sen. Weiner’s bright idea. And he wants to be sent to Congress. How much damage can he do there?
2. Prop. 19’s screwing over the kids of homeowners. Our state legislatures are ignoring this proposition that got through using false advertising and now nothing is being done. I recommend we vote them all out of office and put some sane, common-sense people in their place. Newsom on down has taken this state to its lowest levels ever.
3. Kids on electric bikes. No license, no helmets, no laws. Again, our state legislators at work, or lack of working to solve important issues. Only thing I see is presentations to inform us of the problems that we already know exist. No action is what I’m seeing. Legislators, get to work making life better for us, not worse.
