Checkers is a one-and-a-half-year-old male domestic shorthaired cat. Do you have a feather wand? If so, Checkers would very much like to meet you! He can be a little shy to start off, especially in new places. If you pet him and give him lots of head scratches, he is sure to warm up easily to you and purr in appreciation for all the love he has received. He is quite playful once he becomes comfortable. Pet cats offer numerous benefits including companionship, stress reduction, and some even say improved heart health! Do you know why cats don’t practice anything? They don’t need to practice anything – they are already purr-fect! Is Checkers your perfect companion? Meet him and find out.

Stop by Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to meet Checkers ID#A960630 or call 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment. Visit phs-spca.orgfor more information.
