Editor,

The Proposition 50 Ballot Statement is misleading, “Fiscal Impact: One-time costs to counties of up to a few million dollars statewide to update election materials to reflect new congressional district maps.”

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Weismiller. Reports indicate Proposition 50 is estimated to cost over $200 million. It will likely be more, perhaps eclipsing $276 million. But don’t worry. Newsom blew $23 billion for healthcare for non-citizens, $24 billion on homeless programs which resulted in more homeless, $billions in the past and in the future on the train-to-nowhere, and $30 billion on EDD fraud $200 million of our taxpayer money is peanuts when he forces Dems to start an all out war to threaten democracy. On the bright side, thanks to Newsom starting a redistricting war, Missouri redistricted to add another potential Republican seat. I believe Indiana and Florida are pondering redistricting, also.
