“Dummies: Learning Made Easy” is an integral tool many college students use to keep up with their studies. The little black and yellow how-to books simplify Shakespeare, parenting, spelling and even relationships.

There are apparently 300 million Dummies how-to books in the world but not a one that explains the San Mateo 101 Managed Lanes Project and how an express lane operates.

Thanks for exposing the clever use of words. This is another con by an incestuous government, big business, developers, construction unions, and bought and paid nonprofits to fleece money out of hard working commuters.

MTC has never done anything positive for the Quality of Life of the average resident of the 9 Bay Area Counties.
All lanes on the freeway should be for all the residents to use. NO Elite lanes.

Right on the mark and add that the root cause isn't exposed directly...

# 2 root cause of all this traffic congestion is that the volumes of affordable bedrooms are on the East Bay side. So folks commute via auto's to their jobs here on the West Bay

Why the MTC Columbus Day is indicative of (symptom) and not the true root cause

Which brings up root cause #3...our public transit isn't good enough. Includes our roads & highways. For it were..folks could take public transit from Lake Tahoe via HSR

We need to acknowledge Root Causes #2 and #3...then address them directly instead of band aids that often creates new problems and/or exacerbates the problem...

What about the area north of 380 this is the new slow spot despite limited entry and exit points, if the toll lane does not go all the way into and through SF how does this help anyone?
