There should not be a regional tax measure. Since the State has passed so many housing bills (to eliminate parking) it should fund public transit. State and Federal government love creating unfunded mandates on Cities and Counties who are already struggling to cover existing costs.
There is usually no money at the end of a project. Assume zero forever. If they are to pay at the end of the project I hope they are paying rates at the time of payment and not 2 to 3 year old amounts.
Regarding VLF is there really money? I heard there is a multi-billion dollar deficit. The problem is government is broken up into so many different district and agencies to the point no one is responsible or accountable.
