BIDDEFORD, Maine (AP) — Trump administration officials told Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to suspend most vehicle stops after two deadly shootings within a week, people familiar with the decision said Tuesday.

The policy change came after an ICE officer shot and killed a Colombian driver Monday in Maine and a week after one shot and killed a motorist in Houston, renewing criticism of the agency’s enforcement tactics that were widely condemned last winter after the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good in Minnesota.

As always, don’t attempt to run over law enforcement. It usually doesn’t turn out well for the perpetrator. I always hope these so-called immigrant rights groups (code for paid protesters?) would demand answers on why Democrats put the welfare of criminals and terrorists over the American people. Apparently, it is only worthy of protesting when invaders to our country are being held accountable for illegally crossing our borders. And of course, being paid to protest. (Speaking of being paid to protest, what ever happened to the flash-in-the-pan No Kings loitering parties? I guess having Kings is okay now? Or no more funding for ineffective tactics?)

Regardless, we’ve seen this show before… We’ll get the obligatory hand wringing and pearl clutching from Democrats, socialist/communist/all flavors, supporting criminals instead of ICE. My advice… Move on, nothing to see here. More power to ICE to do the job Americans want them to do – making our country safer. Now if only ICE could increase their 10,000 arrests over 5 days…
