Recently appointed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin suggested on Tuesday that U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials would halt processing passengers at major U.S. airports in sanctuary cities, potentially halting international traffic at Bay Area airports.

Mullin said regions across the U.S. that have declined to cooperate with President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement policies may have customs officials removed from airports, ultimately preventing the processing of international passengers through an authorized port of entry.

An April 7 table shows the number of international and total passengers that arrived at San Francisco Bay Area airports in 2025. San Francisco International Airport is the largest hub while Oakland's airport has more international travelers that San Jose.

Great idea, if sanctuary cities continue to harbor KNOWN illegal immigrants who are KNOWN hardened criminals, then it's time to fight back and protect the USA from California.
