
A man accused of setting up a credit card skimming device at a Bank of America ATM in Belmont was sentenced to 90 days in county jail for attempted felony identity theft, the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said.
Nicolae Diaconu, 29, of Seattle, Washington, set up a credit card skimming device in December 2022 and set up a camera near the ATM, the DA’s Office said.
