Shots were fired between two individuals resulting in a prompt response from the Redwood City Police Department Wednesday morning, leaving both with critical injuries but an expectation of survival.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. March 25, police received a report of a gunshot victim located near the intersection of McGarvey Avenue and Farm Hill Boulevard, police said. While cops were on the way, there was an additional report of a second shot individual at a nearby location.
Upon arrival, officers quickly determined that both victims were involved in a single incident that occurred inside a home on the 3000 block of Hastings Avenue. No one else was involved or present, police said.
The victims were transported to hospitals with critical injuries and are expected to thrive, a press release said Thursday.
“Detectives have responded and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,” a press release said.
There is no ongoing threat to the public, police said.
Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to call the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100 with details.
