San Bruno police are investigating two residential burglaries that occurred just a mile apart Monday.
The Nov. 13 crimes shared similarities, including the burglars gaining access by breaking rear glass doors, according to police. One crime occurred at a home on the 2200 block of Hamilton Avenue and the other about a mile away on the 1600 block of Cedarwood Court, according to police.
Miscellaneous property was taken from both properties and a blue 2008 Ford Mustang was stolen from the home on Hamilton Avenue, according to police.
Most residential burglars select a target where they believe no one is home and police are urging neighbors to call 911 immediately if they suspect any suspicious activity. Anyone with information about the recent crimes is asked to contact San Bruno police at (650) 616-7100.
