A burglar who snuck into four Redwood City residences earlier this year, in two cases committing sexual battery, was sentenced to one year in county jail and sex offender registration on Nov. 13.
The burglar, 21-year-old Redwood City resident Christian Canelsian, snuck into one home on Ebener Street on Jan. 1 and another on Jan. 29, where he fondled a victim’s breasts when she was sleeping and subsequently fled when she woke up.
On March 4, Canelsian snuck into a third Ebener Street residence through an 11-year-old child’s bedroom, removing the window screen. On March 19, he committed a last intrusion into an Ebener Street home, again fondling a victim’s breasts while she was sleeping and then fleeing.
Canelsian pleaded no contest to one felony charge of residential burglary and one misdemeanor sexual battery. He will be on probation for three years and is required to complete a sex offender management program as a part of his sex offender registration.
