Blitzen is a 5-year-old male German shorthaired pointer. Just like Santa’s working reindeer Blitzen, Blitzen the dog is a working breed dog. His smart mind and high energy level mean he needs to have jobs to keep him busy. Even a simple game of fetch makes him happy — he will bark at you again and again to throw the ball. He can never believe he gets to have such a good time. Once you’ve tired him out, he will snuggle up close to you for some nice cuddle time. This fun, affectionate, playful boy is hoping for a family who is active like him, loves to pet him and will never tire of throwing the ball. Stop by Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to meet Blitzen #A0983131 or call (650) 340-7022 with questions. Visit www.phs-spca.org for more information.
