Fans keeping up with the 2026 FIFA World Cup flocked to Redwood City’s Courthouse Square, an official fan zone for the soccer tournament, to line up for hours Monday afternoon for a chance to snag a viral charm bracelet. 

Amy Liu wasn’t much of a soccer fan until her daughter, Zoey Liu, began playing at 3 years old. When they read online that Bank of America’s “Fan Bands” would be handed out at Courthouse Square on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, they knew they wanted to camp out for the free memorabilia.
