Aragon 3, Carlmont 1
Sophomore midfielder Emi Lo was involved in all three goals for the Lady Dons (5-1), totaling one goal and two assists in a non-league home game against Carlmont (5-4-1). The win is the third straight for Aragon. Freshman Kayla Sims assisted on Lo’s goal, while senior Sierra Troy and sophomore Tessa Matthews added scores. Lo now leads the Dons with five goals on the season.
Menlo School 2, Carmel 0
Junior goalkeeper Bianca Putanec recorded her second straight shutout, and her fourht of the year, as Menlo (6-3) earned a non-league road win at Carmel (2-4-3). Seniors Roya Rezaee and Ellie Knoll scored one goal apiece for the Lady Knights. Knoll’s was the first of her varsity career. Rezaee ranks second on the team with five goals, while senior Angelica Chou leads the way with 11 goals through nine games.
Woodside 8, Half Moon Bay 0
The Wildcats (4-2-1) recorded their fourth win of the year, all via shutout, in a rout at home of Half Moon Bay (2-6-1). Senior Acuarela Acosta was credited with one goal and two assists, while seniors Lilly Lyssand, Ally Ortega, Mariam Yusuf, juniors Abigail Clarke and Gabrielle Chen, and freshman Natalia Lopez each recorded goals.

Burlingame (3-5-1) finished its non-league preseason slate with a 3-1 home win over University-SF (3-3-2).
Sequoia (3-4-2) earned a 2-2 draw in non-league action at Las Lomas-Walnut Creek (2-1-5).
Menlo-Atherton (3-4-1) throttled to a 5-0 home win in non-league play against Harbor-Santa Cruz (0-7).

Serra 2, Sacred Heart Cathedral 0
Senior forward Nate Coughlin kept his scoring streak intact, totaling one goal and one assist as the Padres (1-1 WCAL, 5-2-1 overall) earned a WCAL home win over Sacred Heart Cathedral (0-2, 1-4-3). Coughlin has now scored in each of Serra’s eight games this season, and has 10 goals on the year. Junior midfielder Jordan Perez added the first goal of his varsity career. Junior goalkeeper Dominic Kamienski recorded the shutout.

Woodside (3-7) rallied for a 2-1 non-league win at rival Sequoia (3-4-1).
Half Moon Bay (3-6-1) earned a 2-2 draw in a non-league home matchup with San Lorenzo Valley-Felton (1-2-1).

Hillsdale 1, Burlingame 0
Senior Christopher Lopez delivered the game’s only goal to lead the Fighting Knights (7-1-1) to their fourth straight win in non-league home action against Burlingame (2-6). It was the first goal of the year, and the fourth in the varsity career of Lopez. The shutout was Hillsdale’s fifth of the season. The Knights have now outscored opponents 25-3 on the year.
Menlo-Atherton 7, Terra Nova 0
Senior forward Nathan Thurlow entered the day never having scored a hat trick in two years of varsity soccer. Thurlow blew past the hat trick benchmark to record a haul of four goals as the Bears (7-0-2) earned the non-league home rout against Terra Nova (5-2). Thurlow now has nine goals on the season. Senior Yandel Hernandez earned four assists, while seniors Manases Lara Alvarez, Pablo Martinez and Noah De Haaff each scored goals. Goalkeepers Gabriel Hermosillo and Torry Franz combined on the shutout.
Menlo School 4, Eastside Prep 0
The Knights (2-0 WBAL, 4-2-2 overall) became the first West Bay Athletic League team to earn two league wins with a shutout on its home pitch over Eastside College Prep (0-2, 0-6). Freshman forward Blake Putanec scored two goals for Menlo, giving him three on the year. Senior Gabriel Gil added one goal and one assist, junior Kieran Vazquez scored a goal, and Reed Sunwoo and Carter Techel recorded one assist apiece.
Sequoia 5, Jefferson 0
The Ravens (3-3-1) produced their biggest single-game goal total since 2022-23 in a non-league home win over Jefferson (0-6). Senior midfielder Kai Hwang led the way with two goals, while seniors Hans Erickson, Nicolas Amo and Aaron Villafuerte scored one apiece. Luke Shafer, Charlie Hudson, Jack Spottiswood and Bryan Ceballos each recorded assists.

Nueva School (3-0 PSAL, 5-6 overall) took outright control of the Private School Athletic League with a 2-0 home win over East Palo Alto Academy (1-2, 1-2) at Skyline College.
Sacred Heart Prep (1-0-1 WBAL, 4-1-3 overall) battled to a 2-2 draw at Crystal (1-0-1, 6-1-1) in a meeting of West Bay Athletic League frontrunners.
Carlmont (3-4-1) rallied with two second-half goals for a 2-1 non-league home win against Woodside (3-7).
Aragon (5-1-2) got back in the win column with a 2-0 non-league home victory over San Mateo (2-7).
Summit Shasta (0-2 PSAL, 0-3 overall) fell 7-0 to El Primero-San Jose (3-1, 7-5) at PAL Stadium.
