Menlo-Atherton 16, Woodside 8
The Bears left no doubt as they captured the PAL Bay Division title outright after doubling up the Wildcats on the final day of the PAL schedule.
M-A (10-2 PAL Bay, 12-5 overall) finished two games ahead of both Burlingame and Sequoia.
Evan ten Vaanholt and Bryce Winters led the way for the Bears, with six and four goals, respectively.
Woodside (7-5, 11-7) got four goals from Will Stevenson and three assists from Peyton Stafford.
Sequoia 16, Carlmont 5
The Ravens wrapped the regular season with a massive win over the Scots.
The win for Sequoia (8-4 PAL Bay, 15-9 overall), coupled with Burlingame’s loss to Hillsdale, meant the Ravens and Panthers finished in a tie for second place. But on tiebreakers, Sequoia earned the PAL’s second automatic CCS berth, behind Bay Division champion Menlo-Atherton.
That leaves Burlingame as the third-place team in the Bay and will host Aragon, the undefeated Ocean Division champion, a CCS play-in match at 4 p.m. Friday.
Hillsdale 12, Burlingame 11
If the Knights make the CCS playoffs, they could be a very dangerous opponent as they continued their hot play down the stretch. Their win over the Panthers prevented them potentially earning a share of the Bay Division title.
Hillsdale (7-5 PAL Bay, 12-7 overall) beat contenders Sequoia (13-12), Woodside (9-6) and Burlingame over the last two weeks and are 5-1 in their last six Bay Division games.
The Knights appeared to take control of the game in the second period, outscoring Burlingame (8-4, 14-9) 6-1 to lead 8-3 at halftime.
The Panthers outscored Hillsdale 8-5 in the second half, but the Knights held on for the win. Isaiah Yeager led the way offensively for Hillsdale, scoring five times. Goalie Ari Zimmerman had three saves to go along with a pair of assists.

Aragon 14, Terra Nova 6
Emily Troy poured in nine goals to lead the Dons past the Tigers in the regular-season finale for both.
The season is not over for Aragon (6-4 PAL Bay, 9-5 overall). The win wrapped up a third-place finish for the Dons and they will host Ocean Division champion Burlingame at 4 p.m. Friday for the PAL’s third, and final, automatic CCS playoff bid.
