Editor,

Hearing the ads for Proposition 50 it is very clear the reason behind it. When listening to the ads against Proposition 50, there is not a mention how Republican run states are changing the districts to favor the Republican Party without any concern for the voting population. So what gives?

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Krainz. You think Americans need to stop carrying the Constitution in our pockets and actually read it. I’d say that’s only part of the issue. Democrats need to read and most importantly, understand the Constitution. Perhaps they’ll then stop valuing criminals and terrorists over Americans. If Democrats are willing to trample on the Constitution, they’ll trample on anything and hope gullible voters allow them to. Vote NO on the threat to democracy known as Proposition 50.

And the identical move that is happening in the red states mentioned in the one page text of Prop 50 is NOT a threat to democracy?????????????????

Get real, “Terrence Y!” *Your* president started this fight, and you expect Democrats to simply roll over and surrender??? Or is Trump going to call in our military and use it against “internal enemies” as he threatened to do is his speech at Hegspeth’s generals meeting??? Trump is out of control - if Biden had been making these comments, you would have been outraged. The hypocrisy here is a mile deep!

I would like to hear more specifics where you think Dems are valuing criminals and terrorists over Americans. And interestingly enough, when you (and others) are saying we are taking the voice away from the people, this proposition (VOTE YES) passes, it is a vote of the people to empower our leaders to move forward on their plan to equalize our stance against the red army, or should we call it the orange army. Voting yes is the democracy that you mention, again where the people give the okay to the leaders to take action. THAT is democracy.
