Editor,

I was not thrilled to read the DJ’s two letters in the Oct. 21 edition. However, I do recognize the importance of allowing “the unenlightened” to participate in freedom of speech, even when their “hero” refuses to acknowledge this freedom to those who did not vote for him.

Here we go again… Hey Ms. Berger, please point out the current Republican administration’s illegal/undemocratic/evil agenda. I’m betting you can’t. But there’s plenty from the left – and those folks are being referred for prosecution. Rightly so. What you should be more worried about is the threat to democracy in the form of Proposition 50 that King Newsom started and which Democrat subjects don’t have the courage to stand against. Thanks to Newsom, other states are/have finished redistricting whereas before, they may have left it alone.

Well Kat - you missed her point. Where were you during the Biden calamity?
