“I only moved here a few months ago, and I didn’t think this would happen so soon.”

Craig Wiesner

These were the words a boy who had recently moved to Colorado said to a reporter in the aftermath of the Evergreen High School shooting on Sept. 10, the 47th school shooting of the year. Two students were wounded and the 16 year-old shooter took his own life. Imagine your child expecting a mass shooting in your new hometown, only being surprised it happened so soon.

It is yet another one of Wiesner's meaningless, sanctimonious and soulless platitudes. Only a King can attract that many group thinkers for a public square rally. So, the unintended question is whether his cohorts actually embody his "King" concept.

Jay Jones, the Democrat candidate for Virginia attorney general in recently revealed text messages called for the Republican speaker of the VA house to be shot, after which he would "P--s on his grave". He wanted the man's children to die, after all they were "little fascists". The Democratic party in Virginia continues to support this violent man's candidacy. (He's also got a reckless driving conviction in which he endangered lives.)

Recently at the Pacifica Fog fest a locally known Democrat walked by the GOP booth and made threats, including wishing Trump had died in the first assassination attempt and saying “I’m so glad all you fascists are standing out here so we know where you are so we can shoot you all, I can’t wait to shoot all you fascists" A police report has been filed.

I'm sure you know Jordan Grimes, president of Peninsula Young Democrats and local YIMBY activist who posted on Blue Sky within a hour of the Kirk shooting: "Play stupid games win stupid prizes" and a commenter stated "Next up all MAGATS for the Charlie Kirk experience", which Grimes did not condemn. The post is still up. The local Democrat Party has refused to distance themselves from such comments despite my requests which they ignored.

So while it is great that your friends aren't violent Craig, the left does have a violence problem. Would be nice if your side really did condemn such behavior but sadly that isn't happening.

Hilarious column from Mr. Wiesner. Remember, this is the Mr. Wiesner who “promised” to write columns that would move anyone who isn’t already on one side or the other, to give people hope or motivate them to do better, or to spark mutually helpful discussions. That “promise” was over a year ago and we’re still waiting. In fact I’d daresay Mr. Wiesner has done the opposite.

The most notable sentence from Mr. Wiesner's column, “I have worked with thousands of liberals, progressives, Democrats, Green Party members, libertarians, independents, some Republicans and even a few anarchists.” So thousands in Mr. Wiesner’s echo chamber but only “some” Republicans (RINOs?). Perhaps Mr. Wiesner has conveniently memory-holed BLM and their violence, deaths, and over $1 billion in damage to, if I recall correctly, mostly Democrat cities. And let’s not forget the 1000% increase in threats and violence to ICE.

As for the No Kings loitering in the streets campaign, I’d encourage these folks to upload as much photos and video footage as possible. It’ll make it easier for law enforcement to identify those involved should their loitering become violent. Meanwhile, Soros is being investigated which means Indivisible members are likely to be investigated.

Perhaps if Mr. Wiesner were truly interested in reducing violence and a threat to democracy, he should explain to his echo chamber why Democrats supporting criminals and terrorists over the American people or why Democrats holding the country hostage for health care for criminals are not winning arguments.
