The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors need to be transparent and tell the taxpayers how much it cost to remove the sheriff.

Well said, Mr. Duncan. As a fellow taxpayer, I’d like to know how much has been spent to date – and not only as a lump sum. We should remember that there are numerous lawsuits that have yet to be settled and those costs may add a few $million to the total. Perhaps the SMCBOS can provide a running tally. I envision we'll soon see a tax proposal to pay for these increased costs.
