Gavin Newsom jetted off to New York this week to portray himself as the alternative to Donald Trump on climate policy.

During a speech to the United Nations during Climate Week NYC on Tuesday, Trump declared anew that concerns about climate change are “the greatest con job ever perpetrated in the world,” chiding other nations for efforts to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

Thanks for another great column, Mr. Walters, highlighting the panderer and poseur that is Newsom. All of Newsom’s talking the talk but not walking the walk (except in the opposite direction) will be an albatross around his neck and follow him around like a puppy dog as he attempts to achieve higher office. In fact, I predict Newsom’s Democrat opponents will happily rehash Newsom’s pandering and lack of action. Would you want someone who continues violent rhetoric against ICE and law enforcement? Chameleon Newsom will happily point his violent rhetoric against you if it serves to benefit Newsom.
