If Millbrae wants to increase parking turnover downtown, why don’t they enforce the time limits that are already posted. And avoid the expense and hassle of installing meters

Because, Mr. Donnelly, installing meters will allow preferred contractors to be paid millions to install meters and then police them, without ever knowing if there will be a return on investment. See San Bruno for an example. Meanwhile, don’t be surprised if folks avoid Millbrae or park in surrounding neighborhoods.
